Home gyms seldom work because
of the motivational factor. When things get tough it’s easier to
quit while no one is watching rather than continuing to work
through the problem.
At fitness clubs you are
surrounded by positive energy. You see people from all walks of
life striving to improve themselves. When you surround yourself
with this energy it will rub off and you will find that your
motivation will increase with each workout.
Once you start seeing results
you will feel more energized to continue with your fitness
regime.
Going to the gym on a regular
basis will reinforce this positive attitude and allow you to
feel a sense of accomplishment from your efforts by allowing
others to see your transformation.
In a home gym you do not have
this benefit. The positive energy is limited and may be the
difference of giving a 100% effort.
Even if you say you have no
time to go to the gym you must make time. Prepare your meals in
advance, go to the gym on the drive home from work. You don’t
have to spend hours working out, just a quick 45 minutes 3 or 4
days per week can do wonders.
